Classroom Procedures
There are many protocols and procedures we create, as a class to make an environment that your child will feel safe to make mistakes and to learn from them.
Participation, Preparedness, Respect, and Positivtiivity are a must in my class.
Your child will be required not only to answer questions but also to explain and perhaps even defend their opinions. "I can't" or "I don't know" are not accpetable responses. Every student in my class must make an effort to engage.
Classroom Work
Your child's work is a reflection of them. All work must have their first and last name on it. Any papers without names will be discarded.
Neatness is expected at all times. Participation and completed assignments are required daily. Participating and putting your best work forward are critical for progression at Roberto Clemente School.
Homework Expectations
Your child will recieve a planner at the beginning of the school year. The planner will be used daily. Homework is posted daily on the board. Students are given ample time at the end of the day to copy the work into their planner and to gather all necessary itmes for completion of work. All questions or tasks mut be completed. Full credit will not be given to incomplete work. Homework is to be returned to class daily and neatly.
